The young boy is now given an extra severe punishment with the dreaded wooden spoon, which Nick bravely endures as he is resigned to his fate, it does take all the strength and courage he can muster though to bear this painful punishment. He stands with his hands behind his neck for the punishment. Eventually when the Master finally tells him that the spanking is over, Nick cannot help but cheer inside, but the Master still decides to put him through the punishment of standing naked in front of the wall, leaving him there until dinner time.
