The Master is quite angry with Dominik who is new, due to his ongoing tardiness, he was supposed to have arrived on time and in his usual nonchalant way he arrived late. The Master tells him he will be punished and so after stripping naked, he receives a hard strike on the soles of his bare feet administered with a cane.
