The Master tells Martin that his ordeal is not yet over and that he is still to be punished further and so proceeds to have him now raise his legs and then starts another hard strike on the soles of his bare feet administered with the cane. While Martin is being punished, he also must remain in an uncomfortable and extremely vulnerable position. His ordeal continues with him receiving an even harder more painful and humiliating punishment with the cane, this time delivered on his exposed and sensitive nether regions.
