To humiliate John even further the Master decides to put painful clothespins on his ears before starting his next punishment; John remains resolute throughout though and takes his punishment in respectful silence, trying to maintain some dignity and pride albeit with great difficulty. John is then flogged with a leather tawse severely followed by an equally painful spanking by hand while lying over the Master's legs.
