The Master retrieves the wooden spoon for the next session of punishment as well as the deck of cards so as to allow Jason randomly to choose a card that will determine the number of hand spankings he will receive. The poor boy is not very lucky and unfortunately for him chooses a card that will give him the maximum number of spankings given with a heavy hand. That’s just the beginning through since after a good dose of the severe hand spankings he is again given a round with the wooden spoon, which puts a tremendous strain on the Jason, who resigns himself to his fate since he knows he cannot get around receiving his just and well-deserved punishment.
